Durham Bird Club at 50 - Castle Lake Event, Sunday 11 May

A special  public event is being arranged to take place on Sunday 11 May at Castle Lake, Bishop Middleham, one of our "flagship" sites.

The programme will be centred on Bishop Middleham Village Hall and on the Club's hide overlooking Castle Lake, and is expected to include

​

• Walks focussed on the bird and plant life of the site

• Talks providing information on the site and on Durham Bird Club

• A presentation on the archaeology of Bishop Middleham Castle, the deer park and the surrounding area

• Refreshments
